Not only are these common knowledge and some downright rude but the author's reading on the audiobook is awful. I literally listened to it on 2x speed just to tone down her condescending tone.
Horrible, horrible and even more horrible. Takes a dig at why Dale Carnegie's book just doesn't cut it in almost every chapter.
The book is full of insincere recommendations which will backfire on you (unless, perhaps you are a alpha male or a blonde white female)
The author seems to not understand anything about other cultures and keep referring Japan to “Asia” while exemplifies English speaking world as vast with lots of cultural differences. Differences so vast that somebody she met couldn't understand that she wanted a sofa (should have been called a pop)
She also claims that Japanese people take their lives to save faces. I think she is referring to seppuku, which was a tradition in 12th - 16th century
Lots of practical non-trivial advice. Lots of parts where I realized I've been accidentally impolite but didn't realize. Or found someone else annoying but couldn't figure out what it was about them. Also I never really thought about the impact this will all have on your daily livelihood.
Enjoyed enough that I should look into more from this author.
My 10th book this year

This book has some pretty useful essential tricks to be the big social cat, although the tricks are so much that it's overwhelming, but it has some potential. I will definitely go over this book again. The ebook version of this book is a nightmare it's redeclous, I couldn't read it properly.
