Humpty Dumpty lives in a dark world where he toils all day. Light is blocked by a wall surrounding everything. Dumpty has a dream to see over it, and, after great effort, he does so. Yes, he has a great fall, and the end result is a cracked egg, but part of that egg shows Dumpty's happy smile.
