Ugh, no. The writing style is just not a fit for me, and the narrating voice sounds like that of someone who thinks she’s far more ‘quirky’ than she really is. Also, I’m just not interested in something that within the first few pages has mentioned covid two or three times - once with a literal count of how many days the pandemic has lasted per the moment she wrote the sentence - and tried to make a crappy joke about how Christmas wrapping paper is bad for the environment so you can just throw the presents to surprise people.
