Maybe a 2.5. Abbi does the narration, so it feels even more stream of conscious as you're listening, which was both great and awful. Some fun tidbits about Ilana and Broad City and some funny and poignant stories, but mostly lists of anxiety driven what-ifs that don't make for good reading/listening. Haven't seen her drawings but do want to look at the book for those. 2.5/5.5 hours of an interesting listen.
I adore Abbi Jacobson with al of my heart, and this book did not dissapoint!! It was so cool to be able to see into the mind of one of my favorite comedians. Learning stories about her life made me feel less alone and like I could amount to big things in life. She is so inspiring and romantic, this is such a good read!!
Lovely little read if you've found yourself in a season of change, especially one you didn't see coming.
This isn't for everyone. But if you are a person who thinks endlessly in a million directions, and also a person who worries about whether someone will every really... get you, then you'll relate to this in a way that feels important.
