I believe book one will be my forever favorite. I read the series via AnyPlay and it was just a little trippy that the voices were the same throughout the series because the narrators were the same.
Either way, I totally appreciated how different each of these stories were. Each sister walks their individual journey and owns it the best way they know how. In retrospect I can appreciate how Jemma didn't bend in terms of giving up her nomadic life. It was psychological. As long as she could keep that nomadic life, picking up and leaving as she pleased, the more she found wanting to be back home a little more each time. I'm not sure how sustainable it would or could be in real life but hey, it worked for Jemma and Levi. The reality is the more we look around the more we will notice that people are redefining relationships redrawing the boundaries and norms. The reality is that people are just wanting to live their lives under their own terms and making it work. Christina C. Jones captured that perfectly in this last installment.
I'm off to read the rest of her books. Peace!
