Ok. So you want an outdoor Bible, but you prefer the ICB over NIV and you want something that will last more than one outdoor season? Then consider the Tommy Nelson Nature Bible. This has a zipper, so you can keep those scraps of paper or notecards inside. Plus I believe this cover maybe water resistant and will increase the longevity of this Bible. Starting with a pretty illustrated timeline and ending with attractive maps. There are even sections with inserts on suggested special verses. The appendices are full with a dictionary, Where Do I Find it? and What God Promises About... sections.

This is a great first Bible and one to truly let your kiddo explore and discover God for themselves. Quiet times around the bonfire can truly be valuable.
