I often enjoy titles from Button Poetry authors because it is an extension of the glimpse we see of them on YouTube. This book is a deep dive into Blythe Baird's world, full of difficult topics that would warrant trigger warnings, but then again, what poet doesn't use words to give voice to difficult topics on their journey to healing? Raw and candid, Baird talks about eating disorders and body image, mental health and sexual assault. If you can relate, it is gut-wrenching to see yourself in her words. If you can't relate, it still packs a punch.

This book talk about subjects such as Love،Being Gay، eating disorder ،feminism ،sex and rape. I would recommend it if any of these subjects interest you.
As I got through 45% of it I started to enjoy it more، I highlighted 10 poems ، there was one poem about zodiac signs ،this was probably my favorite . I don't believe in them I just like to read about them. There were 2 or 3 poems that I wanted to skip but the rest were good.
Blythe mentions how her mother didn't accept her sexuality and her felling sorry for begin this way. The title tells it all ،it mostly about apologizing for what she did to her body. The writing is good ،meaningful ،and gives you things to think about، maybe things you do to yourself that could be considered harmful and makes you fell bad about yourself but you keep doing them anyway;in a way it's self hate.
