If the Shoe Fits is quite the enjoyable read. With plenty of funny scenes and entertaining characters, this book is sure to have the readers laughing out loud!
Julianne's personality is a great one to model, as she is always looking for the good in every situation, even when some of the worst circumstances hit her. Will and Julianne have their ups and downs, like all best friends do, and though it is predictable as to how their story will end, it is a lot of fun reading how they get there.
This book also shows how peer-pressure can really affect someone. Julianne was so scared of what everyone else thought of her at an important ceremony, that she would rather pay more money and lie to people than just be herself with her friend and in the end, she caused herself more embarrassment by trying to please everyone else.
Filled with great moral lessons, entertaining scenes, and encouraging characters, If the Shoe Fits would be a fabulous beach read for the summer or just a good book to lighten the mood. I give it a full 5 out of 5 stars.
