History is a treasure and Patrick Brown's Industrial Pioneers brings the treasure to the page with interesting quotes, authentic era images and more. Easily a keeper to the history shelf in anyone's library. As a genealogist and all around lover of history I was drawn to Patrick Brown's book Industrial Pioneers. My family has been in the states since the early 17th century and I am surprised at the parts of history that I do not know. I usually stay to the Carolinas and below. Through Brown's book I was able to enter into more detail on the late 1800's and early 1900's in the Scranton, Pennsylvania area and it really opened up some interesting details.
