It had to be you

It had to be you

In November of last year I was introduced to Janice Thompson through her Weddings by Bella series starting with Fools Rush In. Knowing that contemporary fiction is not normally my genre, I was hesitant, but I dove in and was not disappointed. I am simply enthralled by the fun nature of Janice's stories and could not wait for more. In February I was able to continue enjoying this series and Janice's writing in Swinging on a Star. My love for the characters and genre have since grown and I could not hardly wait for more in the final episode of this Weddings by Bella trilogy in It Had to Be You. I have to also add that I also enjoy Janice's writing voice in historical fiction as well such as her Summerside Press title Love Finds You in Poetry, Texas under the pen name of Janice Hanna.

It is no doubt that with this third installment all of my opinions thus far have been complimented and increased. These are tickle my funny bone and giggle almost too loudly to wake the baby humorous. The characters are lively and a stifling chuckle of fun. From the Amazing Grace/take-them-to-the-matresses parrot to each and every individual character quirk I could not turn the pages fast enough. I eagerly and easily recommend any and every title from Janice Hanna Thompson and cannot wait to add more of her past and future titles to my keeper shelves.

Oh and for some humor, check out this picture of AppleBlossom and me while reading Fools Rush In.
