This short novella provides the perfect setup for Kait Nolan's new series. As it ends on a cliffhanger, it is more of a teaser, and I can't wait to find out how the story around this 300 year old marriage pact is going to play out for everyone involved! Bonus point for Rebecca and Grey from the Bad Boy Baker series making a short (and somewhat dei ex machinae-y) appearance.
