Joan Procter, Dragon Doctor: The Woman Who Loved Reptiles

Joan Proctor, renowned British herpetologist and Curator of Reptiles at the British Museum, lived a short life but made enormous contributions to the field and was one of the few women scientists in the field. She was a legend for caring for her pet komodo dragon.
