The story is told in found footage format which was quite effective to make the reading experience quite anxiogenic. The story comes across as way too plausible for comfort.
This is such an interesting way to tell a story. It had me stressed the hell out but that’s reality. Needless to say, I disliked Melody. I loved Granny though, she was too funny which was nice considering this book goes into how scary social media is/could be. It’s scary that this is so realistic, this is really how the “podcast bros” talk to and about women. I did like the “She Knows, She Knows” moment I got with the last email from the concerned stranger after Tiana emailed for help. I caught it immediately and figured out who was emailing her.
