"It will take two to fill the vacancy I left." sksksksks why is Kage so dramatic lol.

So I feel like Kage kinda lost it a bit towards the end. I wish he'd have just talked to Jamie at literally any one point because he made the sorts of leaps to conclusions that are usually ascribed to women💀

Literally 90% of Jamie hiding what they were to each other seemed geared towards protecting Kage and his image in consideration for his UFC ambitions. Except the time at his family home and that one's understandable, why he'd be wary of coming out to them on the spot.

So I think Jamie got shafted a bit here, heh.

BUT, how old is Kage exactly because..... Jamie is 21 so I kinda sorta understand why he lashed out after Kage rejected him. But I thought Kage was a bit older/more mature so it was shocking that he lashed out that way without trying to talk it through first. But hurt will do that to anyone, I guess.

My best part is ironically the last bit when they were fighting like wild cats because why are you speaking this way to your person 💀like how do you come back from invalidating their dreams and telling them they won't ever make it😂😂😂😂😂

Do you just say, "Sorry, babe, I was hungry and it got the best of me, I didn't mean any of that, I absolutely think your dreams are valid?"

This is the biggest reason why I'll read book 2 because I want to see how they spin this.
