Quite the thriller, and quite the choice for an anniversary gift to my wife. I didn't have much of a clue of the plot before I read the book, and I might've chosen something else for a present, had I known, but it was a good gift – we both enjoyed it. The way the story builds up, while slow, was fascinating, and the twists the plot had were very interesting. Nick and Amy were both annoying, unpleasant characters, but I was still interested to read what happens to them. That's an achievement.
