With Gothel gone, Aladdin and Cassian desperately try to cover up their involvement in her disappearance. But Aladdin is soon to face his next opponent and tensions are running high amongst the competitors. With everything on the line Aladdin must decide whether a lifetime of wealth is worth the huge risks he's taking, or if it is better to turn tail and run. And with his eye set on Princess Rapunzel as his prize, he must try not to be distracted by the alluring genie who accompanies him.

While the first one was hard to get through, this one was much faster paced and kept me interested throughout. I enjoyed this book and am glad I stuck it out with the series. The 4 main characters are all interesting and I still cannot tell you how it’s going to end in the third one.
