Relatable and realistic while still interesting and filled with fun references and captivating life event plot points, The Alvarado family is somehow both unique and everyday, filled with charm, fun culture, and LA goodness.

Interesting book. Held my attention. But where is the story?? This is like the beginning of 10 different stories, and none of them fleshed out. Ending was like... it just ended!!
