Last Summer at the Golden Hotel

A new-to-me author! I wanted another summer type read and summer was in the title. I really enjoyed it! If you like the setting of Dirty Dancing, you'll like this book too. Nostalgia is a running theme.

This story has lots of family drama and secrets. The one at the end was predictible and kinda glossed over. It didn't pack much of a punch.

I already wanted to visit the Catskills because of Dirty Dancing and now this book, too!

That was a fabulous and fun ride. Witty, charming, full of family drama, but most importantly...love. Love of togetherness. Love of making great memories with family and friends. Love for disconnecting and being present. Love for nostalgia and legacy.

I wish I could have had a place like this to escape to growing up. Nowadays I go camping or hiking and call it good
