Let's Do This

The multiple epilogues turned this from good to great for me. I love it when both MCs put everything on the line for each other to get what they want.

Also, I'm usually not a huge fan of friends to lovers because it's hard to distinguish the falling in love part. It tends to just be friends starting to have sex, which in many ways, it is. But with this one, the shift in dynamic was obvious.

The mild fear of rejection, the bits of insecurity, taking cues from the other- it was kind of nice to not see them feel complacent with each other.

Plus, this was low angst, and it still managed to pack quite the punch without big dramatic breakups and such.

Though the way they initially starting hooking up required some suspension of disbelief.
