Life Without Lack

Sometimes God gives us what we desperately need before we know we need it. So it is with Life Without Lack. I received an advance copy of this book, never having read any of Dallas Willard's work before. The truth here hit me like a ton of bricks. Willard's walk through and explanation of how the 23rd Psalm is really meant to work was insightful, easy to understand, and eye-opening. He explains how Jesus found God sufficient for all things, and how we can do the same. The book was both a comfort and a challenge to me, to put myself aside and truly trust God in ALL things. I've highlighted and made notes already, and I'm going to be reading it again. This isn't a work you can skim through and take in at one whack.
