A beautiful, lyrical story which explores the problem of plastic in the ocean, and the challenges facing marine life. Little Turtle loves the ocean with her whole heart. As the years pass, she repeats an incredible journey across the world to the beautiful coral reefs. But one day she finds that plastic has invaded her beloved ocean. Could Turtle's journey be over forever?

Little Turtle makes her way from her nest, onto the sand, and into the sea. She loves the beauty of the ocean. She grows and she travels back to the beach where she was born. She makes this journey many times. But then the ocean began to change. More plastic appeared in the ocean. She was caught in a net of plastic and it was only with the help of some divers that she was able to escape.
Lyrical text and beautiful blue pictures.
A book which talks about the impact of plastics in the ocean, my 5yo was really interested and concerned. Opened up some good conversations.
