This book is amazing! The illustrations are beautiful. Usage of font sizes emphasizes appropriately the excellent text as well as font varieties. These add vivid detail and interest as well. this is a large size book, but it is a beauty. Educational on trains, history, and American geography. This is a fabulous addition to any shelf. Highly recommended!

I'm still amused that I have a copy of this book from before it was the dual award winner that it is. Part of me wants to get a new copy to have those medals on the cover. Today, I discovered this book is in the Kindle Freetime Unlimited library and I read it again. I love it just as much. I am glad I have the hardcover copy that we can pour-over, but the Kindle eBook is nice as well. The Kindle eBook is done well with the double-tap to enlarge the text and swipe to next and so on. Well done.
