This book was so goddamn cute. I love stories about sibling bonds anyway so this was right up my ally. This was also unexpectedly funny in a tongue-in-cheek kind of way. I loved how the “romance” was not even a romance, but friendship. That made it so much better. And I need that Irish book lady in my life PRONTO. This also had some really tender moments which I lived for. Overall, a good time through and through.
Not as good as “Love & Gelato” cause I didn't really like the plot all that much. Was really excited to read this one but I didn't love it. Everything else was good like character and writing!

My thoughts about this book:
1. I wasn't expecting to like it as much as the first book, but I did.
2. I laughed out loud quite a bit. This book is funny!
3. There is a theme about being brave enough to stare your heartbreak in the face that I really appreciated.
4. I need to go to Ireland asap.

I loved Love and Gelato but this book is unnecessary and not nearly as good. Why did we get the reveal about what happened with Cubby so late in the book? It felt like the author knew that that was the only interesting part of the book.

The excerpts from the travel book made me cringe, and I skipped all of them actually. I thought the storyline was okay. I liked the sibling relationship focus, but I wish there had been more romance. Enjoyed it but not nearly as much as Love & Gelato.
