I previously read this novel under its original title Rosie Dunne and recently listened to the audio version. I felt compelled to write a review of this sweet little novel that has stayed with me over the years.
This epistolary novel tells the story of friends through emails, cards, and letters between Rosie and her best friend Alex as well as communications with other friends, relatives, and other people encountered in their lives. It ended up being a love story, with several twists and turns and I really enjoyed returning to this story.
Perhaps a 2.5 stars.
The entire time I was reading this story, I kept on wishing it would end for multiple of reasons. One was because I knew the main characters would finally get together at the end, and I hate waiting for characters to just be together, and another reason was because I hated reading a story told entirely with emails and letters and instant messaging.
Reading this book, I felt like a was snooping in someone's journal, email, computer! But it's a good read, very cute and spans many years.
3.5 stars. This book annoyed the shit out of me, I have to say. It wasn't a bad book, but it just wasn't the type of romance book that I like. Rosie was sooo annoying in some chapters that I felt like going through my e-reader, inside the book and punching her in the face, I swear.

This is a little bit drab for me. Nothing really special about it and I don't see what the hype is all about to be honest. I'm still looking forward for the movie though but I think it's something not worth seeing at the cinemas in my opinion.
