The book was alright. I liked the multiple endings. Over all, it kind of reminded me of A Series of Unfortunate Events. The writing style that is, not the story. Can't wait to read Lulu's next adventure!
This book was okay, the main seller for me the art of Lane Smith. The story could have used a little more....sparkle. Lulu is kind of grating and the author's insertion of herself into the story kept ruining the trance. I am always on the hunt for chapter books that I can read aloud in the first fifteen minutes of my older kids crafts (I have read a few chapters of My Weird School, Junie B, etc). This one will not work for that.
I think I would like to try Lulu Walks the Dogs, though. Perhaps it was just my mood when I read this.
