What the HECK with that ending?

The writing in this book flowed more for me than the others. We learn more about Magnolia, and I truly love her. She has OCD, shes impulsive, and she loves her friends. BJ grows more, but is always a mess! I really liked Julian in this book. I love the circle of friends. Magnolia and Bridget bond continued to be one of my favorite parts.

So much drama, angst, jealousy, and steam. Time to read the next one!

Even though i knew she'd end up with BJ regardless but i liked her with julian. They were good together and to see him fall for her and do what he did for her was just heartbreakingly awful. BJ pissed me off in this one a lot like i wanted to smash his face against the wall several times. Fucking hated jordan!

Overall, it made me tear up a bit when they talked about each other but it felt a bit of drag sometimes.

oh my goodness guess what time it is? a whole 2 WEEKS later i am picking this back up because i am less heartbroken and can tolerate the toxicity (probably), still, fuck you bj.

okay i may not be finishing this book today, turns out going through your own heartbreak makes this way harder to read

i am determined to finish this book today - i just can't do it all in one sitting because i physically feel sad and their pain when i read this that i have to put it down

my heart is churning i'm already obsessed. “how's the weather parks” will get me every time. but what's up with that guy being named jack-jack? the baby from the incredibles has no business being in this toxic environment.

TL:DR - i have returned from my hiatus to get right back into the toxic enthralling world of magnolia parks (she still isn't no daisy haites). i'm super excited to be reading again! i have high expectations for this book and will be a harsh critic.

i'm a chronically ill girly, so I've found myself admitted to the hospital on a long stay. good news is, there's lots of time for reading and catching up with the book world <3

Spoiler-Free (ish) Review:

Jessa Hastings, what have you done to me?! I am so in love with this world and these characters. I need the next Magnolia book like right now! The saga of Magnolia Parks and Bj continues in this book. The banter continues to be top tier, but I found this book to be heavy on the emotions. I got emotional at so many parts, and I just need more. I am absolutely feral for the next installment in this series. Dual storyline cliffhangers— my heart can't take it. I loved Magnolia's journey in this book— the healing that took place for both her and BJ warmed my heart. The last 20% of the book has me on the edge of my seat and unable to stop reading. Ugh I love this series so much, it is definitely going on my mental book shelf of favorites (and probably my physical one too) This is a New Adult Romance, 18+ for language, sexual content, and themes.

This was so good and so frustrating at the same time!!

By this point in the story, we're used to Magnolia and BJ and the way they get back at each other but there were certain points in this one where BJ got nasty and it wasn't nice at all.

There were some amazing moments in this too - the December 3rd reveal, Julian being Julian, Henry always being amazing (can we get a Henry book please?!), the whole last 100 pages
