Mina Matthews, having worked hard to pull herself out of poverty, is enjoying her success as owner of a full service salon, and fiancee to Andrew, son of the mayor of St. Louis, but her carefully constructed life begins to all apart when Victor Gonzalez, her childhood sweetheart and man of her dreams, returns to town.
