Moon Dance

Samantha Moon is a private investigator...and just happens to be a vampire. She was turned and now her life has been turned upside down. Her husband is afraid of her, she has to work nights and cannot keep chocolate down. Her husband is cheating on her and she is trying to keep a normal life for her two children.

This is the first of a series and it starts off very strongly. She is hired to find out who tried to kill Kingsley Fulcrum who happens to be a werewolf. There are some interesting characters like Fang who she talks to online.

Somehow I couldn't relate to the main character. She seemed to be dithering between “I'm just trying to be a good mom”, “I think my husband is cheating on me, but I still want to keep him, even though he's creeped out by my condition”, “RAWR, my werewolf client is HAWT” and “I can kill all you losers with my little finger”.
