Mrs. Paddington has gotten her hair styled in the fashion of the day, with an enormously tall ‘do featuring a windmill and tulips, kept in place with beef marrow and wax and sugar water. The ‘do attracts mice and gives Mrs. Paddington headaches. In addition, it's hard to even get inside a home or a place of business with such tall hair.
Zany illustrations, and all based on the true history of the hairdos of 18th century London.
