Quite good, really! It's always refreshing to read something set somewhere else than the typical Finland, UK or US. Zimbabwe is a fine environment. Memory, the protagonist here, is an albino, sentenced to death for murdering a white guy, the very guy who earlier in her life bought her from her parents and then was generally quite nice to her.
Well, Memory didn't off him, but she's still sentenced to death, but fortunately she's given notebooks and interested American journalist, so she tells her story and the reader gets to enjoy an interesting story set in turbulent Zimbabwe.
