Murder on Balete Drive

Would've rated this at least 4 because I did enjoy it. But the letdown for me was that this whole volume felt more like a promotional material or teaser because it didn't really give off any potential plotlines to follow which I'd argue is the crucial thing about pilot volumes.

Still, I'd continue because as a Filipino myself, I have a biased interest in how the series will take off from here. It's fun to see this ‘reimagined' Filipino mythology, and the art is really incredible. The black and white style truly fits the theme.
