A romcom without sex and very funny. Woman has twins by A.I. She is part of a classicial music trio and best friends with one of the guys, Will. The book begins about 22 years after the birth of the twins and focuses on the woman, Bridget. She spends summers at her home in CT, subletting her NYC apartment. She is expecting her boyfriend to spend the summer with her but he cancels after she gets there, crushing her. The trio needs to find a new third member. Meanwhile her adult children come home to roost for the summer to find themselves. Her house is falling apart. Her famous dad who lives nearby decides to get married again at age 90. Yada, yada, yada. It is hysterically funny and sweet. About love and resiliency and friends and family. All rolled up into a fabulous, fun read.
