It's almost time for a little girl's birthday. She's very excited to think about her hair and all the ways she could style it. In the process, she thinks about her extended family and all the many ways they style their hair. It's a delightful whirlwind of dreadlocks, Bantu knots, high top fades, braids, cornrows, Mohawks, short back and sides, twist outs, and Afros, beautifully illustrated. So much fun!
