When it comes to romance, some men just can't get a break. Back in his wilder days, Lord Somerton fell madly in love with Lola, the most infamous dancer of the Paris cabarets, but though he was ready to defy his family, society, and all the world to marry her, she turned him down flat and broke his heart.
