This story is a different take on the fae, werewolves and such. There are portals to let them come through from another planet. Josephine has always been different so she has kept to herself for the most part. In walks Cormac who might just have the answers she needs. I'm really looking forward to the next book in the series.
This is my first book that had a lot of religious shame in it, and it was an experience. While that trope/plotline doesn't seem to be for me, it wasn't because of the writing or the story.
I LOVED the MMC. I thought the smut was smuttin' and done very well. The characters were relatable and made sense. No weird turns for shock factor or pointless additions.
I read this with 2 friends and the group chat was lit. Highly suggest you pick a partner to read with. I'm looking forward to book 2.
DNF @ 60%.
It was all smut no character development. Which can be totally fine but I didn't like this story at all.
There was nothing except sex and it being shameful as she was raised catholic.
Should have known when a 22 year old calls her parents “mummy and daddy” non ironically.
Completely bored and didn't want to waste my time further
