I didn't realize this was a series until I started reading, but it was fine as a standalone. I did recently start reading the first one and in the timeline of that book, Dean is about to marry Maggie and I HATE it... he's supposed to be with Katelyn!
I've been reading a lot of romance novels lately and you see similar themes. This one was well-done. I like when the tension is believable and you can feel the angst. Would recommend. :)
I hated this. I hated Dean, I hated the mystery, I hated everyone and all of their reasons for doing everything. It was all so stupid and so wrong. Everyone had a warped way of thinking that led them to their actions and it was just unbelievable.
