Oasis in the Clouds

It's interesting but verbose. Would have liked the books version of the first pass of Bronson Alpha to be in the movie. Think of the section of the movie 2012 including the destruction of LA and the eruption of Yellowstone but world wide and all at once.
That was the only good part of 2012.
Anyways there are a lot of differences so if you had seen the movie, this is still worth reading.
A lot of the speeches and conversations are tediously long, but worth the effort.
Right after this I am reading the sequel.
