A cozy, cute, funny and resolutely modern vampire story with asexual/aromantic spectrum (demi) representation that actually felt realistic with a bonus temperamental ghost and a peculiar feline. While there were an abundance of expressions that will date this book in a few years and the relationship between Josephine and Michele was sometimes a bit too saccharine for me but otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end I particularly enjoyed Eadwulf's himbo nature and how it interacted with Josephine's personality and watching their relationship progress in a way that felt organic and actually earned.
I can't wait for the next one!
