I AM IN LOVE WITH THESE COMICS!
Aren't you glad this review doesn't come in audiobook format?
Basically, these highly relatable and often-amusing comic strips by Sarah Andersen put me in a playful mood even when the world is shit and my mood is low. They offer a spec of humour to use as icing on the crap cake that is life. And honestly? They make me feel seen in ways I often don't, because wow... Sarah Andersen and I could be alternate universe versions of each other. She's the one who actually embraced art and didn't get scared away by her self-perceived mediocrity at a younger age. I'm the one who, well, did.
As always, the panels about cats are my faves. The ones about millennial humour ache with truth. But what can I say? I'm getting old. I don't like it. I'm going to sit in denial and tell my pupper how heccin' good he is.
(Did you expect a serious review? It's a book of silly comic strips. I'm incapable.)
A cute graphic novel that was somewhat relatable. I am not a fan of cats though. The adulting part? Understood 100%
I received a copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
