**3.5**** overall I really liked the play but I'm still very uncomfortable about the incest between mother and son. And I also felt like the ending was pretty rushed. I was able to sympathize with Oedipus. It was alright for required reading.

Listened to the audiobook.

Overall it was...strange. There were a couple moments - with Jocasta, I think, that I loved. And the ‘Chorus: Strophe - Antistrophe' stuff sounded unbelievably awesome. All in all though, I just thought it was overly dramatic. Maybe it's supposed to be. Don't know.
