Of Mischief & Mages

This is an ARC read and I am so incredibly grateful to have been able to read this but these are completely my own thoughts. If I was rating this books off of vibes and writing, five stars. I am little harder if a critic but take this review with a grain of salt. Simply because I just finished my favorite book I have read in my two year reading journal and this was the “rebound” for a lack of better word.

Undoubtedly, if the scenario was not as it is, I would have ADORED this book. Wholeheartedly, loved the setting and the fast paced nature of the book. Once I picked it up, I never wanted to set it down. The love between the characters didn't fully encompass my every thought and being. It was the perfect set up, enemies to lovers with fated mates and a multifaceted plot. Something felt flat for ME and I can't even put my finger on it. I will still read everything that LJ Andrews put out because her story telling and creation of a unique world is unmatched, just not my favorite but still highly enjoyed!
