Such a fun little story....
In addition to Janice Thompson's normal rom-com writing we get a cute cozy mystery about who's doing minor vandalism at the vet's office. The result is a light, funny small-town rom-com-cozy sort of story, with lots of pets and plenty of vivid small-town characters.
Marigold and her rescue dog Beau Jangles dance across the pages with boundless energy and interest, and her Grandma Peach is a major character as well.
I enjoyed each minute and the story is an excellent palette cleanser to read between heavier novels. I'll definitely be reading the next in the series. Suitable for any age.
