DNF. Was already skimming the first few chapters, just not for me.
Hopefully the other books in the series are better.
there are romance books that have 0 chemistry, then there are romance books that have such intense chemistry that you feel it, and then there are these romance books as though its a reality show
Such a sweet story
This book had me all in my feels. Happy one second, crying the next, screaming and everything else in between.
Billie is an incredible character - strong, fierce, and passionate. She has her faults, but she has a great heart and I love that.
Vaughn made me mad and also made me swoon. Watching him learn how to let go of the past and embrace the future made me so happy.
Elsie Silver never fails to deliver a sweet, swoon-worthy story and I'm so happy I finally caved and read it.
I love all of Elsie Silver's other book but this was not it for me.

Vaughn needs a redemption arc and even if he gets one later on he needed it before anything happened between him and billie. I refused to belive Bille would have even kissed him before he apoligised for the way he acted the first time they met

I really liked the story and the characters are loveable. I wish I would've been able to know Vaughn on a deeper level. I would've liked more from him. I know this was the first novel from Elsie and I'm already a huge fan. I hate I waited so long to start the series since I've already read two of the ones that follow this one.
Overall really cute, Just kind of fell flat for me towards the middle/end.
