On The Buckle: Dream Horse Mystery #1

Fun and entertaining read!

Vi, Malcolm, and the folks - and critters! - at Winterlights are a lot of fun to get to know and spend some time with.
The mystery part is well done (if you are okay with the dream horse idea, which you probably are if you are reading the reviews, since it's in the series title... ;) ), and the romance is a bit on the lusty side.

Bonus points for all the horsey stuff being spot-on (which seems to be a rarity).
Then again, the working-on-a-ranch-in-a-kilt thing makes for some fun scenes, but I can't imagine anyone doing that of their own free will. On purpose. Just... no. :D

Books 2 and 3 are already on my TBR pile.
