On the Hunt

I read The Collector by Shannon Butcher as I continue to read the Sentinel Wars Series.
This short story was about Neal and Viviana. Gilda sends Neal to get an artifact that Viviana, a collector, has. This artifact can cure Torr, who was paralyzed by Synestryns a few weeks back. This story was fast. It took place within a few hours. Neal and Viviana went through the usual Theronai male meets Theronai female must keep at all costs formula. Again this was a fast hook up with love in the end and everything but strangely enough, it felt believable to me. I think what helped was that Viviana had been collecting Sentinel artifacts for years and had an open mind about things. She was utterly annoying for the first couple of pages, maybe even four but she came around and proved to be pretty kick ass in the end. This was a really nice read.

I think I'm getting used to the fact that probably all of the guys will meet the girls in almost the same way and well... I hope the author can get a little more creative with things. All in all I can't wait to read book 4!
