Pretty alright for the second book the in the series. Cute romance. Easy to read and get lost for a couple of hours.
Only dislike about this author and the main reason I'm not continuing the series - she uses the phrase God damn and I really hate it.
This book was quite fun and exactly what I expected from a book by Sarina. The banter is hilarious and sexy, I love that Jason can play great hockey and also quote literature while Heidi is a total badass, who might be slightly low on confidence but is always ready to take on any challenge. I also enjoyed getting back to the world of the Brooklyn Bruisers, catching up with old favorites and meeting some new ones. I hope the author continues with this series because I love her hockey romances.
This book was so much fun and had all the feels. I fell madly in love with Heidi Jo and Castro. And Silas, and Bayer, and Rebecca, and Georgia, and... let's just say that it's a good thing there are more Brooklyn Bruisers' books for me to add to my TBR list... pile... mountain... :)
