Palimpsest

This novella follows the story of a tinker and his vague dreams for a better future. The start of the story implied a different sort of ending and I kinda liked that I was able to predict how it would end. I think it provides a better insight and overview of the world than all the other From the Depths series combined. Perhaps that makes it an nice finish to the series (each story is standalone) that was started because of the Torment: Tides of Numenera game.
