Paper Girls, Vol. 1

I liked this but ooof having the f slur and an aids joke back to back was what I was expecting within the first 10 pages. It does immediately go checked as to why the character said it but damn.
I decided to pick up this series because of SFF Yeah! and that it has been picked up for TV by Amazon. I can see how this immediately gets the Stranger Things comparison but they are completely different stories. The only similarities right off the bat are small towns and preteens.
Paper Girls is about a group of paper delivery girls who get drawn into something much bigger than themselves. And that means time travel.
