Path of the storm

The U.S.S. *Hibiscus*, with Mark Gunnar as its battle-scarred captain, is ordered to a group of Pacific islands. Gunnar and his crew get a cool reception there, which changes to hostility when one crew member accidentally shoots a child.

But neither hostility nor the love of Lea, a beautiful island girl, can turn aside Mark Gunnar's fierce drive to fulfill his assignment... And when the stormy battle of East against West finally breaks, Captain Gunnar and the *Hibiscus* face it alone.
