When Kirby, a fun-loving penguin, arrives on Polar Bear Island, she shakes things up much to the dismay of Parker, the mayor. Will Parker learn to see how great it is to make new friends? Or will he chase Kirby away forever?

Only polar bears are allowed on Polar Bear Island. The mayor, Parker, intends to keep it that way.
And then Kirby, a penguin, arrives, and Kirby begs Parker to make an exception for him. And Parker does. And suddenly Kirby is sharing all kinds of novel ideas with the polar bears, ideas that make their lives better.
A wonderful story about polar bears and penguins, yes, but also about the value of inclusion in our world.
